Full day Alexandria (LALE-1)
Situated northwest of the Nile, Alexandria is the largest port in the Arab Republic of Egypt and is one of the major summer resorts on the Mediterranean Sea. View its beautiful architecture and experience the charming aura and nostalgia of yesteryears. Next, stop over at the intriguing Catacombs of Shawqafa before proceeding to the National Museum that houses salvaged artifacts from the identified sunken palace of Cleopatra. Thereafter, visit Bibliotheca Alexandrina and then take a scenic drive on the cornice before arriving at the Montaza Gardens for a walk. Stop by at Qait Bey Fort and Abu El Abbas mosque before returning to the ship.
