Ancient Corinth and The Corinth Canal (LPIR-4)
Departing from the port of Piraeus and after one and a half hours drive you will reach the ancient town of Corinth where Saint Paul lived and preached for two years. Back in the ancient times, Corinth was amongst the richest cities and this is quite evident by its remains – including the huge Agora (Market Place) and Apollo's Temple (6th BC century). The systematic excavations of the area, initiated by the American School of Classical Studies in 1896, are still continuing today and have brought to light the agora, temples, fountains, shops, porticoes, baths and various other monuments. Next, visit the famed Corinth Canal and board the local caique from the village of Isthmia.

Take a scenic drive past numerous points of interest such as Constitution Square, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Royal Palace, Hadrian´s Gate and the Olympic Stadium. After lunch visit the National Archaeological Museum for an essential Athens experience.
Panoramic Athens (LPIR-7)
Depart from the pier passing by Zea marina and Microlimano marina – two of the most attractive spots in the Piraeus area. Upon arrival in Athens, the capital of Greece, enjoy the highlights of Athens from the comfort of your coach. The first stop will be at the Olympic Stadium, a nineteenth-century reconstruction on Roman foundations in which the modern revival of the Olympic Games took place back in 1896. After you pass by some of the most important sites of Athens including the Royal Palace, Constitution Square and the Monument of the Unknown Soldier, arrive at Acropolis Hill with the spectacular view of the Parthenon and the glorious monuments of the Acropolis. Continue on to Athens’ most attractive coastal suburbs – Glyfada, Voula, Varkiza, and Vouliagmeni. Stop for light refreshments before the return journey to the pier.
