Take a scenic drive passing by San Pantaleo and Arzachena. Hop into a ferry and arrive at La Maddalena Island where you will enjoy the views of this part of Sardinia. Cross the countryside on a deluxe coach to reach Calangianus – an important centre for the production of cork. Next, proceed to Tempio Pausania, a city famous for the severe but elegant architecture. Spend some time shopping in this area before heading towards Aggius where unique rock formations can be found. Stop over for some photos at the Moon Valley before returning to Olbia.
Train to Gallura (LOLB-5)
Depart for Arzachena via the Sardinian countryside from Olbia and embark a private old time train to start your journey along the greenest area of the island – Gallura. The train ride will end at the Village of Tempio Pausania. Stroll around Tempio and admire the architecture made with local stones and shop for some local products.
