GKRB-1E – Krabi Highlights
Nature lovers, head to Than Bokkharani Botanical Gardens to enjoy the exotic species of flora and fauna here. Next, visit Tiger Cave Temple, a meditation monastery, located in the midst of a majestic forest. Head over to Krabi Town, a scenic little back-water town. Situated on the picturesque Krabi River, the town is laid-back and has an easygoing atmosphere.

For sea lovers, head to Talane for some sea canoeing before cruising off to Loh Lading, Pak Bia and Koh Por Da Islands for some island hoping.

Nature lovers should not miss visiting Than Bokkharani Botanical Gardens as abundant exotic species of flora and fauna are available here. Next, head to Phang Nga Bay, to view its distinctive feature, which are the sheer limestone cliffs that jut vertically out of the emerald green water. Stroll through the local fisherman village to soak in the sights and sounds of a traditional fishing village and observe their simple way of life before heading to Grotto cave to observe interesting stalactite and stalagmite formations. Get a chance to see the Thep Kasatri Bridge and Talang National Museum which houses a vast collection of artefacts before shopping for some local souvenirs.
GKRB-4E – Beach Bumming
Visit Poda Island or Koh Poda as its known. This small limestone island is covered in palm trees and almost entirely encircled by a soft white sand beach. A coral reef lies about 20 metres from the beach with a variety of sea life. The irresistible combination of excellent snorkelling, scenery and soft sand make the island a popular choice. Here, a small local restaurant sells beverages and local snacks. Snorkelling equipment is available for rental. However, only simple toilet facilities are available here.
